I will add though...that one good updating of a series was RAMBO. Okay, not a horror film (though man, the effects in that film could've been covered by Fangoria...one of the bloodiest, goriest films I've seen in awhile.) I just watched this the other day with Mindwarp and it was pretty damn kick ass. And a serious, updating of an old franchise which didn't ignore what came before or reboot or anything--it just made a good movie.
