Loved, loved, LOVED this show. Though not affiliated with the actual Friday the 13th/Jason Vorhees franchise, this series was simply awesome and a kickbutt late night staple for me.
The series ran for three seasons, from September 1987 to May of 1990. I personally didn't get into the third season as much being I was not a fan of actor Steve Monarque (Johnny Ventura), who replaced John D. LeMay (Ryan Dallion).
And, for your viewing pleasure, a clip of the series intro...
While you may find the series on DVD unofficially, I'm hoping someone will eventually come to their senses and OFFICIALLY release the episodes with a variety of behind the scenes goodies, but I wont hold my breath waiting.
Looking back there were several episodes that I thoroughly enjoyed, but if you were to back me into a corner and DEMAND I name my favorite one, I would have to call it as season two's "The Butcher". This particular grisly episode was about a particularly vile Nazi (played by English-born, Canadian-based actor Nigel Bennett) resurrected from the dead to claim vengeance against those responsible for his death.
Anyone else wish to weigh on their favorite FT13TS episodes and memories?
