WHAT I FOUND THAT WORKS VERY WELL FOR ME IS TO EAT PRUNES IN THE MORNING WITH MY COFFEE. JUST ONE SERVING WILL DO WHICH IS ABOUT 5 OR 6 PRUNES. THE COFFEE INTENSIFIES THEM. THEN BEFORE LUNCH COMES AROUND IAM ALREADY FEELING THIER EFFECT. THEN I EAT A FEW MORE AFTER LUNCH AND I FEEL THIER EFFECT AGAIN RIGHT BEFORE DINNER. YES PRUNES HAVE CARBS, BUT THEY HAVE A VERY LOW GL SO THEY WONT RAISE YOUR SUGAR TOO FAST. IT'LL BE SLOW AND EASY PLUS THE BENEFITS OF EMPTYING YOUR BOWELS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY OUT WEIGHTS THE CARBS YOU INTAKE.
