I know alot of the reason now is distance,people are decidingwhere to go to fit into thier gas budgets . But something to consider a couple of years ago ,the AAU state freestyle was in Sidney and it was poorly attended by western teams then. This is a big state and now most eastern clubs are AAU and AAU wrestles folkstyle , clubs go to the closest competition. In the old days with cheaper gas the eastern teams went everywhere but times have changed
