Hiya
I've just called the PCO as I want to do the knowledge and become a licenced taxi driver, but I have a recent criminal conviction and the operator couldn't give much information away on the likelihood of my acceptance.
I committed the crime 3 years ago, but was only caught this year, and was arrested, charged, sent to court, and given 20 weeks suspended for 1 year plus 100 hours of community service (which I'm still doing). The charge was for theft (i know that it was wrong). I'm a white female, aged 26 with no previous convictions. The I went to court in August.
Does anyone know if I have any chance of being allowed to do this? I don't really want to fork out loads of money on the medical and CRB check to be refused because of this.
Anyone know??
