Wendell parks and rec is having a wooden bat tournament Nov. 14-15 at Doug Proctor community park. The cost is $200.00 entry with all of the proceeds going towards the youth programs, for more information you may contact Kelley Connolly at 919-366-2266 or email her at kconnolly@townofwnedell.com. I will have information on this tournament Saturday Oct. 24, 2009 at PC I will be umpiring.
