You can't blame G&K for doing what the associations allow. Old man Doyle is the master of revamping a D squad to compete for the Worlds, within the guidelines, which is why he has been the consistent component for all those titles mentioned. He is like a high priced consultant that just happens to take 35 minutes to get in the batter's box. Only NSA has really learned the science of properly classifying teams via D/L numbers with USSSA starting to follow suite. ISA, ASA, WSL and SSAA have no clue, as evident by the "D" class state championships. Until players are classifed by division, it will remain the same. Don't blame the smart guys who know how to fly under the radar and take pride that you are competing against some of the best in the country on a weekly basis.
