While playing in the SSAA 19U world series my team ran into a problem. Home team batting in the 7th tie game bases loaded. Batter hits the ball into the outfield guy on third scores, however, the guy on first never touched 2nd. He took two steps and went to the dugout. My team throws the ball to 2nd for the force out which was the third out. The home plate ump calls game and says because the runner scored before the force the run counts. And went on the say that this only can happen in the 7th inning and any other inning the force would have counted. We went to the director and he upheld the umps call. Are these the best umps the SSAA has?
