Glad you appreciate my ramblings. My mission is, as ever, to encourage people to use their own brains rather than mindlessly conform. Clearly, smoking is harmful. But it is also true that life entails death, and though everyone will someday die, not all of us truly live. It seems that some of the least imaginative people in society are the first to tell the rest of us how we should live our lives.
When I attended SBCC, I would sometimes bring a can of beer with me for "lunch". In plain view of everybody, I would crack it open and slowly savor it down to the last drop. I was amazed at how many of my fellow students would freak out and tell me I had to "hide" it. Screw that! When I want beer, I drink beer. This is America!
