because Americans are racists. sure, nobody admits it publicly, but get them in their little voting booths and they go for the crusty old white dude every time.
plus, it's been proven that this country isn't ready for a power-hungry woman president, but a MILF VP? McCain can't lose, despite whatever the polls are saying.
