Too bad, if there is no on-campus Philosophy 111 class with Prof. McIntire, because when he taught both online AND in-class versions, he would let the online students sit in the class.
I never had him as an instructor, but I have heard good things about him. Reasonable workload, not too much busy work, work done in class actually fun and contributing to learning, if not even for a grade, e.g. logic games that get the student to think. Very pleasant man, too, I hear. Requires a paper, but teaches the material well in class that prepares the student to "think critically" (which is what the class is about!) to write the paper properly. This is all hearsay, though. Pleasant man, too.
