I was searching for a book on Anna Leopoldovna, and all I could come up with a book called *Five Empresses* by Evgenii Anisimov, which looks interesting in its own right. It is about the five women who ruled (or at least reigned in) Russia between Peter the Great and Paul. The reviews on Amazon were mixed. Has anyone read it? Is it worth getting? Thanks for any help.
