They must have used Babel for the incorrect translation of "fils" into "wire" instead of "son"
The original French text I would guess said "fils".
Using Babel, the French to English translation of "fils" is "wire" rather than "son".
However Babel in Enlish to French mode translates "son" into "fils" and translates "wire" into "fil".
