The following are questions that were emailed me by a person who enjoys reading the message boards but chooses not to participate. He asked if I would poist them so they are. I "copied and pasted" his questions so the wording is his, not mine - Dan
In reading many books on royality in general, I have come acrossed this law.
1. Is it true that a member of the Russian Imperial had to get permission from the Tsar to leave the country.
What members had to?
Were there any denials?
Who?
In Queen Marie of Romainia's bio, she states that she had to get permission from King Carl to see her mother or go to her sisters weddings, which was very distressful and sometimes denied.
What other countries had this law?
Are there any Monachys that this law is still in effect today?
2. If a member of forign royality came to say Russia, did they have to have permission or be invited by the monach?
3. What is protocol if Tsarvich Nicholas Alexandrovich is in civilian cloths and meets a group of solders?
Dose he (Nicholas knod or salute)?
