Who would be the closest living relative on Nicholas's side? (Oldestest brother or sister descendent). Same question for Alexandra. I don't thik restitution is the answere unless the monarchy was restored, and then only limited, such as the maybe the right to occupy one or two of the palaces, just for a royal family to represent Russia. However i don't see this ever happening. I do think on the other hand that their personal belongings should go to their closest living siblings descendants.If it were me I would want that.Everytime I try to research the issue it goes off into dynastics and I just want to know who would be the closest living relatives regardles of the dynastic laws.Thanks in advance Marlene.
