A correspondent sent me the following mesasage thinking it might be of interest to those who look at this Board:
In a nutshell -- in August 2008 on the western coast of Crimea the divers found remains of the Imperial Yacht "Livadia" which belonged to the Russian Tsars. It was damaged and sunk during the storm in 1878 near Cape Tarkhankut. The famous marine painter Bogolubov depicted this site on his canvas "last minutes of the Imperial yacht Livadia", and the site on the picture is identical to the place where she was found.
