I share most of your views.
The situation for the masses was terrible. Now all this seems to be forgotten and glossed over. I feel that too often the fate of Nicolas II is judged by the end and as this was terrible he is the victim. But I think one needs to judge from the beginning and not fromthe end. I am not saying he deserved this end, far from it as I am against any form of capital punishment and of course against mere murder. But I can understand that he was deposed. the throne.
