I have been on Revlimd with the Rev Assist program since January 06. All my blood levels are now in the acceptable range. I started out with 10 mg. My RBC's came up to normal in about a month. My WBC and platelets were low. I was then switched to 5 mg's a day and my WBC's came up to normal. Platelets still low. I am now on 5 mg's every other day. All my blood counts are in the normal range. My side effects have been constipation and some edema. I originally had macrobiotic anemia where my red blood cells were exceptionally large. I now have no mutations, they are the correct size and count. My sister died of leukemia which began as MDS 10 years ago. I have been so fortunate that the Revlimid was approved right when I was diagnosed.
