I have been on revlimid for about a year and a half for my 5q- MDS, and I can post my side effects if it would be helpful info for anyone:
#1: Very itchy scalp, lasted first 1-2 weeks then went away.
#2: Few small, dry, scaly patches of skin, mainly occurring on upper arms.
#3: Quicker drop seen in blood counts (until revlimid kicked in and boosted them up), so it was important for me to get cbc checked at least once (if not more) per week. I required transfusions of several pints of blood on two separate occasions while waiting for the revlimid to raise my counts.
#4: Constipation/diarrhea
I questioned the following as a possible other side effect, but was never positive if it was from the revlimid or not:
#5: Increased skin sensitivity to sun
I initially started on 10 mg/day, but was later lowered to 5mg/day (due to drop in counts) and remain on that dose still. I also received periodic neupogen shots whenever my neutrophil count (related to whites) went below 1500/ul. I now only get monthly CBCs since my counts have been staying high for some time now.
