I do not think he was saying it is wrong to have a big dog, just saying size isn't all that important. Especially when it usually comes with problems, but not always. I do not understand why someone would knock a dog just because it is larger. If that is the case, that is absurd. As I mentioned before, everything being the same the larger dog will get the nod in the show. I myself have a small gyp but I intend on regaining size on her outcross. Size isn't that important to me unless it gets so small it can't work properly, kind like if it gets too big to work properly. That 80-120# slot seems to be best.
