No but all things the same in a show ring, the larger dog will get the nod.
But we know size can is very easily lost with line breeding, and can come back just as easy with the correct outcross. So I guess it just depends on what an individual is looking for.
I myself am looking for consistent working ability, lack of genetic flaws, and type. This doesn't come easy as some people will have you think, and it is not just putting what one thinks are nice dogs together.
I know I'm preachin to the choir on this one, but it is my $0.02.
