Very involved parent

I have a parent who is really on top of things for her child, however she questions everything that happens. Her child's speech is really good. He is 5 years old. He omits some final sounds in phrases and sentences. He has a fast rate of speech and produces /f/ for sblends. He receives 60 minutes of therapy, which is really a lot for the few errors he has. I understand him 90% of the time. Mom seems like she expects perfection. How would you justify to mom decreasing minutes due to progress and only a few errors?
