Hi all:
I am currently working with a 4 y/o child who demonstrates somewhat of a robotic speech pattern and he inserts pauses between words (ex: I..see..plane..fly..high..in..sky). There is an unnatural pause between each word. He is not autistic. Has anyone ever seen this or know the cause/how to address it in therapy? His expressive language when he is telling about an event is also very piecemeal and he has difficulty concisely explaining things.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks
