I would discuss this with the classroom teachers. Most of the preschool programs I have worked with have themes already established. It would be great if you could stick with the classroom themes to help teach language/speech/vocabulary concepts. You could also focus on a book like another poster mentioned. You could work with the classroom teacher so you both could be reading the same story for extra exposure to the language and vocabulary concepts.
