Hi there- some things that might be fun to try with the little ones- use a book and then make a craft, sequence pictures, make a snack,etc- ex- if you read "If you give a mouse a cookie" - read the story, have children guess what the mouse will need next, color in pictures of items from the story, perhaps have a snack of milk and cookies,etc- basically any simple book can be used with follow-up activities. Can also do a theme of healthy food- sing "brush your teeth" song, have a puppet for the kids to take turn brushing the teeth, color in pictures of healthy foods such as apples- make apple smiles (cut 2 pieces of apples to make for the mouth and fill inside with peanut butter to stick on white marshmallows for teeth,etc- basically any cooking activity can be fun for the little ones. You can also do themes based on the months of the year- see what holidays fall in that month and base the theme around that holiday,etc- also speak with the teachers to see what they are doing so maybe you could collaborate/reinforce things in speech!- g luck!!
