The ARC will have to focus upon developing functional communication. Goals could focus upon requesting using pictures, signs, or vocalizations. See the AAC goal section in the goal bank of this site. Strode and Chamberlain in Easy Does it for Apraxia have some suggestions on promoting interactions such apraxic students such as imitating sounds through play therapy. Good luck!
