I made big cutouts (using boardmaker pictures) of a pumpkin with the face cut out, crows, black hat and have them on a tongue depressors. I bring in a pair of my husbands size 15 shoes, white gloves, a shirt and a pair of pants. I pass these out to the kids and they hold them up as I read the story. Then they get to act it out on their own the 2nd time which is great for sequencing.
If the group is small them some students get more than 1 prop.
