It is just a checklist and more for kids with lower skills that might not be able to complete standardized tests. I have only used it for elementary aged kids who are have limited verbal communication skills. It could be used for preschool ages also.
I use the TOPS and Social Thinking Dynamic Assessment Protocol® found in Thinking About YOU Thinking About ME book by Michelle Garcia Winner. These are more for elementary and older kids.
