I have several students that are having trouble moving from isolation to syllables. I have one that deletes initial consonants in words and it is extrememly difficult for him. I have tried running a finger along their arm to blend with /s/. I don't know what else to do to get them to not stop in between the consonant and vowel. Any suggestions?
