When is it appropriate to test for/diagnose apraxia? I have a little girl who I suspect may have it - but I'm not sure. She turned 2 in August. She has extreme difficulty imitating any kind of sound combination other than simple CV patterns - and even those have vowel distortions. Also have observed groping and strange tongue movements when she puts more effort into it.
