I also have had success using the dum dum lollipops for those kids who really can't keep the tongue tip down. We produce a CV /k, g/ (like cow, go, key) at first with the lollipop, then slowly move into alternating between using the lollipop and having them produce it on their own. Worked great with a couple of my kids. I tried to wean them off of the dum dums pretty quick - they get a little too attached to them
