Have you tried pretending to have colds and need to cough into a tissue? If she can cough--then she can shape a gross cough into a /k/. Also, I've had some luck with/g/ by having the child sip water and use an way over exaggerated gulp noise. Just finding "the spot" is the hardest job and the rest will follow.
