I'm frustrated but not sure if I should be........

I am working with an 18 month old who has down syndrome and I am bored with my activities. I've done bubbles, balls, cars and the usual but I'm not really getting any responses. I mean he is definitely babbling more and babbling different cv but not many words. Mom says she sees an improvement at home, but can you suggest actual activities?
