Hi, I am a new SLP and have been having quite a number of "new" cases I have never encountered before while I was in grad school.
I am going to test articulation and language for a child who is echolalic. What worries me is doing the articulation portion of the GFTA on this child. He repeats everything, including my sighs and my "hmmmms" and when I screened him, he was able to repeat it all pretty well. Articulation appeared to be normal when he repeats.
How would you approach this situation?
