I typically put these kids into an introduction lesson....put them in front of a mirror and talk about how your teeth create a cage and that the snake isn't suppose to sneak out of the cage...most of them get it within the first 5 minutes...carryover isn't right away because some of them it is a developmental thing but I think by raising awareness of the proper correction of the sound in a fun way helps too...but no they should not be on an IEP for /s/ at this age.
