I agree with trouble, I wouldn't be attempting to address velar fronting at that age. I currently have a 3 1/2 year old who has /k/'s in his first and last name, so it would be a great sound for him to get, so I attempt to elicit it at the VC level every week, but he is just not ready. I had another child who had /g/ in his first and last name and he didn't get his velars until he was almost 5. I think he got everything except for /r/ before the /k/ and /g/! I use those two as examples that /k/ and /g/ are sounds that sometimes just do not come until the child is ready, no matter what magic tricks we use.
In terms of shaping sounds, I try to stay out of the child's mouth if I can, especially with the little ones. I will have the child look at me and instruct them to imitate my oral movements. I have a large mirror and we both get in front of it and "make faces" that the other has to imitate. Only after they can do what I do with the articulators do we attempt to add sound.
The only one of those goals I would adddress with a child who is 2-8 in final consonant deletion. I attemtp to elicit all consonant sounds with little ones, but only at the sound or CV/VC level. For /v/, I use a picture of a boat and we make the "motor boat sound". That is the only time we use it though. I just add it to the inventory if it is not there, and they will be ready to use it later.
I would personally try to elicit /s/ blends over /k, g, v/, but even with those, I don't see myself attempting to work on them before the age of 3.
