Thanks. The mom says the doctors said they would "keep an eye on it" and mentioned at birth it could possibly be a nerve damaged during delivery-but not looking into it via tests. Mom and dad are anxious-as I would be if it were my child. I have no experience with infants so I appreciate your response. I do know it took multiple attempts to find a bottle and pacifier she would use and she can now spit out the pacifier after some concentration and effort. I will let mom know about the transition to solid food and to keep on top of it with doctor.
