if he has any word matching capabilities (5 may be too young) you can write the words in, on, under on two sets of cards. use different color markers for each prep and then place "in" in a jar, "on" on the desk, etc and have him take his set of cards and match them to the right place. after mastered, take his set of cards away and replace w/ objects but keep the written cards in, on and under and see if he can carryover matching???
