Hi Jen,
I love incorporating books into my therapy sessions with little ones and have found the Lakeshore Story Telling Kits to be most helpful.
The sets coordinate with most popular children's books such as "Brown Bear, Brown Bear", "Silly Sally","Hungry Caterpillar", etc. My kids love engaging in the story with the cloth characters. These sets are awesome for working on expressive and receptive vocabulary, answering wh questions, prepositions, verbs, etc.
Just about the time your little one attempts to close the book and flee to more exciting things, you can pull another piece out of your box and they are suddenly interested once again.
Fabulousness!
