If the child needs speech therapy over the summer, the school is required to provide it as part of ESY. The majority of our preschool aged children who have an IEP get extended school year with therapy services provided. It would be a conflict for you to accept compensation directly from the family. It would be the same as a teacher accepting money to tutor someone that is currently in their class
