Cycles and the bilingual child

If the cycles approach is initiated in English, will its effects necessarily generalize across languages? For instance, I have a 5-year-old who fronts all his velars,reduces sound blends, and deletes stridents in both English and Spanish (his native language).Would cycles be appropriate to do with him? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
