Hi. I'd consider the following things with this child
1. what's her auditory attention like? Does she attend to environmental sounds (does she overattend!)
2. Look at her receptive vocabulary - use basic object, single words, name and function
3. Model 2 word phrases - and encourage family to do likewise
4. Use visual aids (helps family to use shorter sentences, helps you to track targets)
