I am working with a child who is 3 and whom I believe is apraxic. She is my first case of apraxia ever, so I am being very weary in terms of how I am treating. I have established that she can imitate vowels and CV VC combinations, but now I am curious as to where to go. I am trying CVC combinations but she does not imitate the final consonant. Isn't this just FCD? Do I address this (final consonant deletion) or keep going forward with imitating 1 syllable and 2 syllable words? I hope this makes sense!! Thanks
