I have a little boy 2 y 5 mos who produces the first sound/consonant to label request etc. normal range hearing, receptive and social skills. For example shapes is " sh sh sh " , triangle is now " tr tr tr" . I have targeted vowels all of which he can do except a couple long vowels- A , also OOO is difficult for him. He is beginning to combine shhh + a for shapes (trying to get some functional words), also working on my/me, all done etc. But sometimes it just gets so overwhelming and I feel pressure to "fix this" . So my question is am I on the right track and how do you not let it get to you ?
