I make flowers with my students. I have a yellow circle for the center and then 5 different color, pre-cut pedals. In the center they write In the spring I... Then on each pedal they write about what they do in the spring. For the younger kids I use boardmaker and have on hand several photos for them to choose from and the kids pick out the picture they want and glue it on the pedal. Right now I have a great bullitan board with all their spring ideas.
