What are their strengths and weaknesses. I have worked with "autistic preschoolers" that have no joint attention and I have worked with autistic preschoolers that have functional communication skills. Where within the spectrum do they fall? If they need more social pragmatic skills then I work 2-3 children together. If they need to work on learning to use their language to request I work more individually.
