I am not a CFY but I just wanted to pop in and point out that the area that you live in is going to greatly impact how much you make, and how far that money will go.

The average salary in Abilene, Tx is $60,000 less than the average for Vegas! It takes a few steps, but you can obtain stats for most metro areas of a decent size. It won't tell you what a CFY makes, but it will give you an idea of what the average is for your area, which is good starting point.
