How old is the client?
I use Fun Deck name the categories cards.
Then, I fade those cards and just throw a category around and see if he can name as many things in that category.
You can do ball toss back and forth or bean bag toss for every item the child comes up with.
Or, give him a sheet of paper, and ask him to draw the items in a category. And you do yours too. Tell him that he is not going to beat you at this game because u are going to come up with lots of items in that category.
Use a timer, then, get him to tell you what he drew.
Of coz, depending on age and motivation, I may purposefully lose a few times.
