Obedience is freedom
thats all the Lord cares for.
It's our flesh that dictates death...
And guilt and shame...and more!
I had a sin I liked so much.
I did it everyday!
It hindered me from knowing God's blessing,
All along the way.
A shadow it was oppressing me.
Just out of reach and healing.
It slowed me down and backed me up.
And blinded me from God's great blessing.
With guilt and shame and lowly image,
The accuser laughed and laughed ay this...
My great condemning blemish.
It made me small and weak and sinful.
I really got an earful!
But...
Greater is He in me, than he that is in the world! He...cam down to fight my battles,
With the power of His Word.
"Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free!"
He that began this work in you, shall make sure
it gets complete!
I claim it!
I name it!
I say it!
Out damned spot!
I am Free! thru death.
Out! Out! I say...in the Name...in the Truth of Jesus!
I am alive anew thru Christ! Amen!
