It is very sad in these times in which we live, that so many individuals are judged according to their material possessions, rather than what is in their heart. I, personally, have seen people shunned due to their unclean appearance. Just the other day a gentleman was sitting beside a dumpster and asked another man for some food. This well dressed man replied that "He did not do things like that". Thankfully, my kind husband overheard the conversation and bought this gentleman a large meal. Needless to say, the hungry man was overjoyed and through his tears he thanked him for his kindness.
The Lord knows what is truly within our hearts and it doesn't matter whether we are penniless or very wealthy, He loves us anyway. We are to show this love to everyone just as He does.
